Thank you!

I just wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone from Globo who made this project possible. "Acampamento de Ferias" was my first experience acting and I absolutely loved every moment. I learnt a lot and definitely tried to internalize every aspect of acting I could possibly find. Music will always be my passion but I realized that acting was also something I felt very strongly about. Its so great to be given the responsibility of representing another "person's" life, idiosyncrasies, pet peeves, fears.. everything and try to do it naturally and with ease! At first it was unfamiliar and awkward - with the first "ACTION"! (I stopped for like 2 seconds, thinking... umm what does "she" say now!" ahah) But by the third scene I was ready for the "Action", the "Cut" and the "Next Scene".... It was amazing guys!!

Im so excited to get all of your opinions about the series and my character! The series will be airing in January on GLOBO.. However, if you do not have access to it, don't worry, Im pretty sure it will be uploaded onto youtube shortly after!

So to sum up! Thank you Brasil, to all the production team, the Director Marquinhos for believing in me, the makeup and hair team for having the patience to try and make me presentable for the camera's everyday ahah.. Basically everybody that took part.. thank you and you will always be special to me for being a part of something that will always be very dear to me :)

And last but not least... Thank you to my FANS!!! for always believing, supporting and loving me after all this time.. There is no one I love more then you guys..

LOVE YOU

Saudades

There are many reasons "Portuguese" is one of my favourite languages, but this one is the most predominant.
There is one word in the Portuguese dictionary that no other language in the world has a translation or synonym for! This word is "Saudades".

I may attempt to define this word but before I do, please remember it will never be as accurate and as beautiful as its true meaning.

Many definitions online are trying to make it come across as a very melancholic and sorrowful feeling. Don't be misguided. The feeling can also be harmonious and pleasant to feel as it sometimes awakens you to feelings you didn't know you had for someone or something.

Saudade is a feeling of longing. Its like saying to someone who is far away "I have a lot of "missings" for you. It's missing someone who isn't there and you're trying to transmit to them exactly how much of you is missing them.

Through this passionate word you can tell a lot about yourself, your loved ones, how you feel about places, things etc.. It is a truly powerful word which without it, I could never really convey my inner feelings about missing my family, friends and loved ones.

This post goes out to anyone you're missing right now....

Movie inspires my Reality!

It's not everyday that a movie has the power to influence my life but this one surely did! "Letters to Juliet" was a movie that kept me company on my long flight to Rio de Janeiro and I'm so glad it did! (However I did get my fair share of air hostesses and flight passengers look at me curiously and wonder if I was okay, as during some parts of the movie, I became a human fountain!! and also by the fact that I'm a very vocal "movie watcher". It's hilarious, Im such a vivid observer that I'll talk and disagree with a character if I see fit!.. Obviously in the cinema I try very hard to control myself, but ironic part of all this is, that I can watch a movie 5 times and still have the same reactions every single time! - ask my friends if you don't believe me!!)

Anyways, "Letters to Juliet" was such a wonderful movie to watch that it triggered my travelling vice! I suddenly realised that I haven't travelled (as a hobby) for such a long time! So I didn't want to wait a second longer. After discussing the possibility of Florence or Verona with you all, I have made my decision and booked my weekend away in.... VERONA!!!

However, for those of you that said Florence, rest assured that I will be taking another weekend off to visit Firenze :) So, I can't wait! Thanks for all the help everyone.

So...I really reccommend you check out the movie, tell me what you think and don't worry I'll share all about my trip to Verona while I'm there!

"No one said it would be easy, They just promised it would be worth it!"

Do you remember the Rabbit in "Alice in Wonderland?", yep Ladies and Gentlemen, that rabbit has become the 21st Century's WOMAN!!

Is it just me or do we never seem to have time for anything? I mean think about it, women today (I say today because I'm sure back in the different ages, a lot of things where deemed futile as "malls" weren't around every corner and money was probably saved for things like paper, animals for the farms, food etc..) So women today just don't have time to balance their desires, needs and obligations into one day, month or even a year!!

Before I go any further please remember this is a one girls opinion and if my generalisation doesn't include you, then congratulations, you're amazing! ahah

So to elaborate I'll start with "clothes". There are some women that were born without a care in the world for fashion and these could be called "lucky" because the amount of money they save on clothes could literally buy them a trip to Bali!
Then there are the other batch of women that live for clothes, fashion and shopping bags! We're the hopelessly devoted to the fashion bug HOWEVER to some, unfortunately the old motto applies "If you "aint got the lolly, you aint got the dolly".

Women have to be able to sustain their desires and only splurge when they can afford it!

Women these days should be independent, which means that after a certain age (where daddy+s credit card can't pay anymore) we have to be self-sufficient. This is definitely a wake up call on its own! It's from this day forth that you start to weigh down the importance and dire need of your many desires!

Men, (if you've stuck with us this far..) take a quick look at the things we have to deal with or afford  on a day to day basis: Makeup, Clothes, Shoes (yes its one on its own) bags, phones, ipods, books, hair-dresser, waxing, manicures, pedicures, boyfriend/husband, pregnancy, children, PMS, work, travelling, hobbies, gym creativity/inspiration (for some) I mean the list goes on and on...

Anyways, to cut the story short, or I'll never stop -> Women this day and age are my heroes and I think we all deserve a round of applause if you've been able to juggle about all of these different aspects that truely define us as WOMEN. However... Even after ALL of these issues and possible "drama's" deriving from these things, I've still got to say, with all my heart:

I LOVE BEING A WOMAN!!!!!

Still only half-way through!

Okay, So i thought I'd share this with you because it hasn't happened to me since Freddy Krueger and back then I was 11 so I had an excuse to be terrified!
Anyways, If you've seen my video "Mia answers your questions" you should know that one of my favorite types of movies is "horror/thriller"... No idea why, but I love that feeling of suspense and then suddenly jumping like a kangaroo every time the director decided to raise the volume of a violin playing or something!!

Anyways, there's a sport that I LOVE -> Skiing!
It's one of my passions and when you get me in a Ski resort you won't see me going back to the hotel room until i'm fully exhausted!

Sooo, my best friend Casimiro (yes, i'm writing your name haha!!) thought it would be hilarious to share a new movie about skiing with me and as it was a horror film about one of my favorite sports I obviously said "hell yes!" and "rented it"...
I waited until I was done working on this site and ready to go to bed to watch it. So picture me, alone in my hotel room bed, dark, silence around me and a childish excitement to see this supposedly "fantastic" movie....

UMM...Guys...I was so shocked by a certain part of the movie that I literally closed my mac and couldn't fall asleep!!! I spent the whole night thinking of what I would do in that circumstance and how I could prevent it from happening!!!

I'm still HALF-WAY through the movie and can't build up the courage to finish it... ahhh..
Just thought I'd share this story with you :)

Hey if you wanna share ideas with me, watch the movie "Frozen" and comment here to tell me what you think and how you could change what happened... (btw "not going" doesn't count! ahah)
